Wild Ski Weekend 2019

Back for 2019! The Wild Ski Weekend.

2 days of Scottish skiing, in all of its wild, winter wonderfulness.

In March 2018 the Ski team staged a take over of Glenmore Lodge. The Climbers were given the weekend off, the Paddlers sought water in other parts of Scotland. The bikers took to their workshop. For one weekend it was all about backcountry skiing and those that love it. The event sold out. We were all set for our first Wild Ski Weekend.

The plan: a weekend for backcountry skiers. Films, Athlete talks, Black Crows skis to test, Music, amazing food and oh yes, 2 days spent skiing in the Cairngorms.

Scottish approaches...

Glenmore Lodge are partnered with Black Crows Skis, so when the Crows decided to fly over from Chamonix to join us in March 2018, we wanted to give them the full Scottish experience. Scotland did not disappoint our European friends.

From the Lodge’s base at the foot of the mighty Cairngorm plateau we spent the weekend exploring on skis the classic tours, descents and gullies of the Northern Corries and beyond, into one of the biggest ski wildernesses in Scotland.

What a weekend. It was so good. We're doing it again.

The Cairngorms deliver
Skiing for everyone

Join us on March 15th-17th 2019 for the next event. The weekend is hosted by some of Britain’s top ski coaches, instructors, guides, free-riders and athletes and will take you beyond the ski boundaries.

This weekend has something for everyone, so you don’t have to be the best skier, you choose which level suits you. There are 4 levels to choose from - learn more here

Amazing cake and food by our legendary Chef, Matt Dare and his team.

Temperatures are dropping now and we've had the first dusting of snow on the Scottish hills. We're already prepping the skis!

See you in March!
