Sew Much To Do

Making a pair of shorts in my free time.

While being in quarantine, I had the chance to create many new things. Sewing had always been a passion of mine since I was little. My grandma started to teach me when I was little and now we FaceTime so she can help me sew. I love fashion and creating clothes, so since there was so much free time, I decided to start sewing new pieces for me to wear. Over the course of two weeks, I was able to create a pair of shorts and use an old shirt to make a cute top for me to wear when quarantine is over. By the time quarantine is over, I probably won't have room in my closet because of how many pieces I made.

Sketching Ideas

Doing my sketch for my art class inspired by a cartoon.

Every two weeks, my art class with Mrs. Goldman has a sketch due. We make our sketches and present them to the class. While presenting we help each other by providing critique to the sketches and how they could be improved or what we like about our sketches. Our sketches usually have to follow a guideline of topics. Having sketches is great because we get to practice our skills.

Soaking up the Sun

Getting the most out of quarantine and getting some Vitamin D.

Since I'm in quarantine, being inside the entire day is not ideal. Sometimes I have to try and get some fresh air. Having a backyard is one of the best parts about quarantines because I am able to go our whenever I want to either tan or grab some fresh air. Sometimes I bring my dog out for fresh air as well and he keeps me company while I tan. It's important to get Vitamin D while being in quarantine.
