A dutch navigator/explorer Abel Tasman was the first explorer to discover Aotearoa [NZ] in 1642-43. And in 1769 James Cook the explorer came to Aotearoa [NZ] and calmed it for Great Britten

Aotreaoa is a word for NZ its a maori name Aotreaos means 'land of the long white land'

New Zealand the names comes from Zeeland from dutch in Netherlands

WHY DO AOTEAROA/MAORI PEOPLE NEED TO GET TRADITIONAL TATTOO?

They wear a traditional tattoo because each moko contains a tribal messages specific to the wearer. the messages has to tell a story to the wearer family and tribal and there places
