DNA is self-replicating and RNA is synthesized from DNA when needed.

DNA is found in nucleus of a cell and in mitochondria. RNA is found in cells nucleus, its cytoplasm and its ribosomes.

DNA- Adenine links to thymine (A-T) and cytosine links to guanine (C-G). RNA- Adenine links to uracil (A-U) and cytosine links to guanine (C-G).

DNA- double-stranded RNA- single-stranded
