This workshop had three goals:
- Building the HRBP Team's professional practice/understanding of the QLD Anti-discrimination Act 1991
- Building on HRBP Team's strengths through collaboration
- Building a HRBP Team action plan, focusing on contactability and confidentiality, in response to the 2017 Simply the Best Survey
QLD Anti-discrimination Act 1991: workshop aim - for participants to identify and explain -
- the purpose of the Anti-Discrimination Act
- the terms used in the Anti-Discrimination Act
- the role of the Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland
- the role of HRBPs in supporting TQB managers to deal with discrimination/sexual harassment in the workplace
The workshop was held on Thursday 20th April 2017, at Mt Gravatt Campus, and was co-facilitated by Tully Stewart and Tania Vint
