Social Cognitive The social cognitive perspective was developed by albert bandura, and what it talks about is viewing behavior as infLuenced by the interaction between people's trAits and social context

One of the concepts developed by Bandura is reciprocal Determinism. What this concept is is interacting influences of behavior, internal cognition and environment. One example would be our personalities shape how we interpret and react. For example, a positive person would take criticism as constructive, while a depressed person would take it as insulting criticism. I am a more positive person, so any criticism given to me, I take it as constructive and to help me get better at what I am looking to accomplish.
The idea of Optimism vs Pessimism has been around for a very long time, since the beginning of psychology. It is the assessment of how helpful or useless you are in situations. Whether you will believe you or a group can accomplish something or think it is impossible, will determine whether you are optimistic or pessimistic. I am a very optimistic person, believing that anything you put your mind to can be accomplished. The only downside is sometimes I get my hopes up too much.
