Harold Eugene Edgerton is a famous photographer for motion. He was born on April 6, 1903 and died on January 4, 1990. He was amazing at taking pictures. You can feel his passion for photography as you just look at his pictures. He had a couple of his pictures on the "Life Magazine" Harold teamed up with another famous photographer named Kenneth J. Germeshausen to do consulting work with different industrial clients. Harold used stroboscopic equipment, in particular, multiple studio electronic flash units, to produce strikingly beautiful photographs, many of which appeared in Life Magazine. When taking multiflash photographs this strobe light equipment could flash up to 120 times a second. He is largely credited with transforming the stroboscope from an obscure laboratory instrument into a common device.
