What is the science of dreams? By Olivia

History

Native Americans believe dreamcatchers can catch bad dreams in the night
  • In ancient times dreams we're known to tell the future and were very sacred.
  • There were stories in Greek Iliads and the old testament of future telling dreams
  • People would go through rituals to have a dream that would answer a question they had and then would have the dream interpreted by special dream interpreters.
  • If you have a question you can try to answer it with a dream by watching movies, and reading books relating to your question and repeating the question 3 times before you sleep

Some people think dreams reflect your day to day reality.

Other people think dreams are just an extension of being awake so you dream of what you thought or saw when you were awake
