**Announcement** - This edition of TRD Girls Weekly will be the last in the current format, before we fully transform into a more community based magazine called Avakin Addiction in the new year. You may have noticed that over the last few months, we have included more and more community based features etc each week and involved others not part of the TRD family. The new format will link in with our Avakin Life Addicted, Edits and Unity Facebook/Instagram pages to bring to you everything Avakin related each week. The idea of transforming our weekly into something that everyone can get involved in, contribute to and enjoy has been on the cards for a while now and we are very excited about this going into the new year. With that in mind, if anybody would like to contribute any ideas of features you would like to see included, please get in touch via the TRD Girls Facebook page at present.

And so to this week's new releases. For the last week before Christmas, there were no more seasonal costumes from Cosmos, instead we received great collections from both Foal and Mon Coeur, with the usual Ikon release on the Friday. I think everyone would agree that the new Wrapped Up collection from Foal is a perfect addition to our waredrobes for this time of year. A massive Fourteen separate outfits, coats, jackets and jumpers featured in the collection, each presented in a contrasting style and colour to the next. The Foal brand itself has appeared to become better and better of the year and some of the items featured in the collection are stylish enough to have been released by a high-end brand such as something you would expect from Couture. Next we received yet another gorgeous wedding collection from Mon Coeur, this time with a Wonderland theme for the dresses/gowns. The collection featured very elegant wedding and bridesmaids dresses for all those winter weddings, with a great use of fur to add even more style to the items perfect for this time of year. The Ikon release this Friday as far as talk across the community is concerned, has quickly become an all time favourite for some. The male release showed us that guys can look as good in pink as the girls, but it was the Sugar outfit in particular that got everyone excited. A completely hot pink item covered in over-sized sequins for the girls and proved to be a perfect Xmas gift to give someone just in time for the big day. For the new magazine format, we would like to give you the full run down of each week's new release for both the males and the females in the future, including group edits of full collections if possible for both genders. Watch this space!!!

Congratulations goes to maia lol who won the Avakin Life Edits - & More Christmas edit contest this week. We received a lot of very good entries and it was very hard to select the overall winner. Well done maia and keep an eye out for more exciting contests coming soon!!!

You may have seen Emeana Avakin's 'Look of the Day' feature on Facebook previously. Like us, I'm sure it gives you lots of useful hints, tips and ideas for great outfits to put together and wear on Avakin and it's a pleasure to be able to include her feature later on in our magazine.
