Learning over Schooling Learn what you need to know, nothing added in.

.

Students pay to go to a college to learn about something they are passionate about and get an official degree in. Colleges should be offering more classes towards these majors instead of making general courses mandatory for education.

Colleges should remove general courses and replace them with more focussed classes for the majors

Keep students coming to college to learn what they are interested in by offering more classes that they may better learn their craft. Someone well-versed in their craft will have better chances at catching the eyes of employeers

WITH STUDENTS SPENDING MONEY ON BOOKS FOR COLLEGE ON SUBJECTS THAT THEY ARE VERY LIKELY TO NOT USE AGAIN; COLLEGES CAN PROVIDE BOOKS FOR CLASSES THAT CAN BE RE-USED BY STUDENTS IN THE FUTURE FOR REFERENCE WHEN NEEDED.
