The National Anthem

CG Debtones starts off the game with the national anthem. The Debtones' first performance, called Fall Festival, is Sept. 29. Tickets go on sale Sept. 18.

The Dance Team

Holly Handlon and the rest of the dance team dance in front of the bleachers before the game and on the sidelines during the game. At half time, the high school dance team performed with the middle school North dance team on the field.

The Student Section

Issac Taylor "parts the sea" of students all the way up and down the bleachers. The entire student section cleared out with seconds left in the game to rush onto the field when it ended.

Russ Yeast and Titus McCoy listen to Coach Eric Moore while holding the awards the football team won for the night. Yeast was presented with the MVP of the game award held in his hand. The Copper Kettle in McCoy's hands is for beating Carmel, and the Great American Rivalry Series Champion award sitting in front of it is a new award presented by the US army.

Center Grove football won against Carmel for the second year in a row. Next Friday, Sept. 9, the team will play against Ben Davis at Ben Davis.
