The "Ministry As Awkward" logo is created from the Cooper Std typeface. To the left, the logo is shown at 100% black, but is designed to be versatile and use all 5 colors of the color palette.

The colors of this palette are refreshing, yet bold. The interaction of the colors creates an effortless feel that sparks a sense of fun that aligns with the brands values. Any additional colors that may appear within the brand will consist of shades and/or tints of the palette.

Cooper Std and the Avenir Next Family are coupled together to create the Ministry is Awkward typographical system. Cooper Std expands upon the fun feel of Ministry is Awkward while the family of Avenir Next ties into the virtual tele-communication style that the brand took on due to COVID-19.

Everybody knows that flamingo's are the epitome of awkwardness and Sarah is no exception. Named after the "mother of nations," Sarah represents the doubt that accompanies faith. Genesis 18:1-15

Simple vector illustrations dominate the design style utilized in the Ministry Is Awkward System. These illustrations draw inspiration from natural landscapes as well as the heavens.

Vector illustrations can be static for wallpaper purposes, or as animated sequences for social media.

Social media platforms can utilize any of the icons that are on displayed on the left. But I mean come on, who wouldn't just want to use Sarah all the time??

All videos must follow the digital aesthetic of a window open within a laptop desktop. This style choice is due to the digital methods used to create Ministry Is Awkward due to the social distancing orders of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

This is where most of the action will take place. The Ministry Is Awkward Instagram introduces jargon series such as: "Faith vs. Doubt", iconic memes, teaser videos, and interactive story filters that brings the growing technological world and marries it to expanding Christian topics.

Posts appear in a series of three's known as "trinities". This is to maintain consistent, cohesive and clean feed.

Instagram post videos feature the segment known as "Christians Read Responses On *Featured Word*." The responses are by Non-Christians who share their interpretations of Christian jargon.

These videos are meant to give insight into what these words mean to a new generation of Christians as well as challenge them to see things from a different perspective.

Meme's are also utilized within the social media system. Meme's can be utilized to portray positive and negative relationships with Christianity as well as be a means to convey Christian theology in a modern and universally recognizable format.

Interactive Instagram filters complete the Ministry Is Awkward Instagram system. These filters main FUNction is to be that fun. The filters encourages everyone to participate in the awkwardness that drives the brand and allows all to get in the conversation of jargon, and not just those featured in the featured videos.

YouTube is the secondary social media platform that is utilized within the system and houses the main videos for any jargon series. These main videos can be comparisons of two jargon'd words or a study of a singular word. All videos though should feature young adults to stay within the range of the target audience of 18-25.
