Step 3) DRAFT Product Vision


DRAFT Vision Statement: Introduce an engagement experience that marries multiple approaches, programs and settings (e.g., virtual, mobile, in-person events, challenges etc.), where employees’ as well as family members’ preferences, abilities and motivations are learned (i.e., by one or many programs). Ultimately leading to personalized content and program recommendations, which are based on estimated predictors of individual success. It should evolve, through user engagement, to increasingly tailor the user experience and ultimately predict future needs. The anticipated results are superior employee and family member engagement and commensurate value to Comcast NBCU.

4) Refine Product Vision into a 'Pithy' Statement

5) Memorialize Visions in Storyboards.

6) Conduct Pains / Gains / Job Analysis

7) Create Customer Value Proposition for selected personas

Optional) Gather ideas from outside the project team.

8) Transform Communications Personas into Product Personas

Each product will have distinct groups of users: leverage data from our data warehouse, other vendors, and primary market research to drive further definition.

9) Combine Pains Killers and Gain Creators into an Aspirational User Journey

10) Conduct Sprint Planning Sessions to Establish Minimum Viable Product

Select important features based on: potential to contribute to goal achievement, complexity to implement, legal / regulatory concerns, etc.

11) Write user stories

Capture the essence of the customer need and prepare documentation to: 1) Enhance offerings with current partners OR (2 search for new vendors and partners.

12) Perform landscape assessments using OUR vendor database, National Business Group on Health's and search for others.

13) Evaluate solutions on goal and strategic initiative alignment.
