2003 Heatwave

The U.K recorded it's highest ever temperature of 38.5 degree in Kent. Over 2000 people died due to the heat, railway tracks buckled and in places the roads melted.

Several people died and many were left homeless by summyou er floods affecting Hull, Shefflied and Glouchestershire.
