The history of geranium
According to the Aromatherapy library "Geranium essential oil was used as far back in history as ancient Egyptian times; the Egyptians used geranium oil to treat cancerous tumors. Geranium was brought to Europe in the late 17th century and became popular during the Victorian era; fresh leaves of geranium were placed at formal dining tables and used as finger bowls. In the Victorian parlor, the potted rose geranium plant was placed on tables, where a fresh sprig could be obtained" Now in modern times we use it for cosmetics due to it skin revitalizing properties.

Geranium Egyptian Essential oil has many beneficial properties that will positively effect our bodies externally as well as internally. A commonly known facts is geranium's ability to prevent cancer however some of these quaities are a lesser known facts. According to Dr.Axe he calls it the "Healing Helper – Geranium oil helps to speed up the healing process of cuts, wounds and incisions. It also helps in fading the look of scars and other spots on the skin quickly. Because geranium oil has powerful cicatrisant properties, it increases blood circulation right below the surface of the skin — this helps with the healing of spots caused by acne, cuts or wounds, surgical incisions or skin irritations" (Dr. Axe)The healing properties of Geranium was what instantly made it one of my favorite oils. I decided to try and create an oil for my dad to use to help soothe the dry skin on his legs. I came up with a blend of Geraniu, bergamont, and lemon. I loved that their beneficial properties synergiezed togeather to create ths super healing oil. At first my dad said the contents may have ben a bit to stong so i went back to the drawing board and added african shea butter and some coconut oil to help dillution. I have documented photos of the changes in his legs even after the first treatment.
This is a picture taken of dad's legs before the first trial with the oils. he was born with some kind of skin condition that's he's never really getting it diagnosed. This is how his natural skin looks maybe 5 minutes after being out of the shower for 10 minutes.
This is a photo of my dads legs after his first treatment. He said his skin felt better after the treatment. however later in my observations he's asked me to dilute it more because of a slight tingling sensation it has given him so now the cream I am on creating for him is still in progress but will b done soon.
