Five Common sense fixes you already know by charli gisi

Day after day, teenagers gripe about struggles and stresses that can easily be solved with common sense. As exams quickly approach, thoughts can fog your mind and keep you from doing your best, here are five ways to create some ease in your life.

1. JUST DO IT!

If the homework on your desk that’s collecting dust or the assignment crushed at the bottom of your backpack is giving you stress, just do it. If you have time to stress about the upcoming due date of a project or assignment, then you have time to finish it and get it done.

2. tALK IT OUT!

You and your friends are having a little fight and it’s getting in the way of your studying and fogging up your thoughts. Pick up your phone and text your friend, let them know what you're thinking about and that you want to fix the problem. It’ll give you a sense of closure and clear your mind.

3. #SINGLE4LIFE

With everyone around you starting new relationships, the stress of finding “the right one” can become overwhelming. There is no need to worry about rushing into something just because your peers are coupling up. Stay single. Don’t let others pressure you into rushing into a relationship.

4. SCHOOL V. WORK

Balancing work and school can be extremely stressful, but put school before work. Yeah, getting a steady paycheck is nice, but it won’t be as nice as graduating and being able to focus on a higher paying job with your diploma. High school adds enough pressure on your life and work doesn’t need to take up all of your free time that can be used to study or do your homework.

5. AFTER GRADUATION PLANs

Being forced to choose a career or college as a teen can be more than one can handle. It’s okay not to know what you want to do later in life, or to change your mind if you find out it isn’t for you. However, becoming aware of your feelings of what you want to do after graduation helps alleviate some stress.
