How to link a file or text A GUIDE FOR ALL USERS

Who is this for? This guide is for students and faculty who want to create a hyperlink inside a Rich Text module.

Step 1: Click on the pencil icon. Type in and highlight the text in which you want to embed a hyperlink.

Step 2: Once you selected the text click on the “Hyperlink” button. Then, paste the web address you want to turn into a link.

Next to "open in New Window" click on it so that your link will open in a new window on the browser.

Step 3: The text that you selected by default should turn blue.

Publish the page and go the “Published View” to see if the link you provided is working properly.

You can follow the same steps above to link a file. Except this time you have to click on the paper clip icon instead of hyperlink icon.

That's it. If you have any questions, contact the ePortfolio team or visit the MB-57 office.
