you are going to want to pick a tone of voice that will have your audience intrigued but not to happy. You want to use short sentences so that your audience doesn’t get bored.
Also use words that you think that your classmates might know so they don’t get confused.
Next add something that you think your audience would like this, we were in the snow playing and all of a sudden our ball went in the street so i went to go get it but there was a car coming and the driver wasn’t paying any attention so I almost got hit by a car. Now i will always look before crossing the street.
To write a good speech, you will need to work on it, think about it, and maybe even rewrite the whole thing.
Turn the speech into note cards, then practice! No one wants to listen to you read an essay out loud. You'll need to become familiar enough with what you wrote to deliver it confidently while looking at your audience.
