MIAMI BEACH VALENTINE'S DAY at fontainebleau

FontaineBleau

This trip was an absolute pleasure. I booked it with Delta Vacations and I am a SkyMiles member. The booking process was incredibly easy and offered a robust selection of options and offers at each step of the process. We decided on FontaineBleau after reviewing the resort's website - after seeing the amount of stuff to do there along with the footprint it has on the beach.

Good Morning

Each day started with this beautiful view. Miami Beach is always a beautiful place, but these particular views were spectacular. This is the view from our private balcony just off the master bedroom of our room in the Sorrento Tower.

Private Ultra Cabana

The Cabanas at Fontainebleau are absolutely incredible. Everyone from the crew and staff to the guests were pleasant. We had a wonderful time relaxing and sipping on Veuve in the beautiful Miami Beach sunshine in the private ultra cabana area next to the resort.

Pools and Beach

FontaineBleau is an amazing resort. There are gigantic pools, enough room for everyone to have their own interactive space and fun in the sun. The crew is very attentive and there are multiple locations outside to get drinks or food in just under a few minutes. You're also right next to the beach of which FontaineBleau has an amazing spot!

Hakkasan

We were delighted to discover that this resort had a number of fine-dining restaurants as well as casual options - Hakkasan obviously being the former. The food and plate combinations were divine. We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu for two, which was more than enough to keep us delighted and stuffed!

Incredible Dessert

The dessert at Hakkasan was incredible. Not too rich or too sweet, and just the right amount of tart mixed with sweet. How can you beat a mini chocolate lava cake mixed with homemade ice cream?

Delightful Drinks

The drinks at Hakkasan were nothing short of stellar. I could not believe my mouth. Make sure to order from the specialty cocktails list - you won't regret it.

Livin' it Up!

We stayed in cabanas two days during our trip, the first day was in the more quiet section of the resort where the ultra cabanas are exclusive to customer's willing to shell out $550. These cabanas double in price on the weekends, but rightfully so because the place turns into an all out pool party. We choose Monday which was the quietest day of the entire trip. Just be on the lookout for cabana squatters!

Lovin' Lapis Spa

We booked a day at the spa for review - we loved it! We started with a detox bath and then transitioned into a hot clay body wrap. The heat combined with the properties of the clay mixed with algae and salt scrub exfoliated our bodies. Then it was a quick rinse off before our full body and facial massage. The massage was therapeutic and the masseuses were excellent. There was some "peaceful" background music which we found disturbing and at a quick request, it was turned off. Pitchy flutes aren't my idea of relaxing haha.

Winding Down

I will never forget the beautiful sunsets we got to enjoy from our balcony each night. It was dreamy, and the best part is you couldn't miss it if you tried.
