Where is it made?

The factories are located in Guangzhou, China

What are the steps to making this computer?

The Mac starts with a aluminum slab

then goes through a carving and polishing process in order to make the cutout for the keys and the overall design.

Then important computer components such as fans, processors, and memory drives are applied.

Then the screen is attached to the computer, the screen is made of glass and LED which improves energy efficiency.

Why Aluminum?

Apple decided to use aluminum in order to achieve extreme thinness, therefore making the computer lighter. Also it is strong considering its lightness and helps make the macbook more attractive visually.
