We have reached the research portion of our school year. My students have been tasked with the creation of 3 projects covering their selected person of research. The only requirement that I had for choosing their person was that the person had to have been born before me, 1970. I have been amazingly happy with their choices, such a wider variety of athletes, celebrities, historical figures were selected. One of my students is even related to the man, Robert Ballard, who discovered the wreck of the Titanic!
My students Adobe Spark Page is supposed to be a timeline of their research person's life, starting with birth and going through either the present day or their death. I asked them to use each of the elements of the Spark Page (Photo, Text, Button, Video, Photo Grid and Glideshow) at least once on their page. This is not a selection of my best submissions, these are not even graded yet. I asked my students to volunteer for me to share their work.
