My research project led me to study how students in my classes deal with feelings of failure and a fear of the unknown in art. As a part of getting students to create loose marks, one of the mediums we worked with together was Monoprinting. Anyone who has ever worked with this media will know how messy it can get and how it makes you focus on tone and volume rather than outline. Here the students and I repurposed old CD's to create the prints with.
