Traditional Belgian styles for men and women are modeled after the French clothing style, which was influenced by the French occupation during World War II. The smock and beret are popular apparel worn by men, and the classic huntress dress is favored by Belgian women.

On vacation, you can wear all the colorful and casual clothing that you like, but you must always be elegant. -unknown

Absolute monarchy - a form of government where the monarch rules unhindered, without any laws, constitution, or legally organized oposition

Government. Belgium is governed under the constitution of 1831 as amended; revisions in 1993 established a federal state. Its government is a federal parliamentary democracy with a constitutional monarchy. The head of state is the hereditary monarch; the head of government is the prime minister.

In Belgium you will see lots of old buildings and rivers. There are a lot of trees and rolling mountains. The view is very beautiful.

There are three main geographical regions to Belgium: the coastal plain, the central plateau, and the Ardennes uplands.

Transport in Belgium is facilitated with well-developed road, air, rail and water networks.

In North America, Belgian waffles are a variety of waffle with a lighter batter, larger squares, and deeper pockets than ordinary American waffles. Belgian waffles were originally leavened with yeast, but baking powder is now often used.[1]

In Belgium itself, there are several kinds of waffle, including the Brussels waffle and the Liège waffle.

Currency. The Euro is the official currency of Belgium. The Euro was launched in two stages. First, in January 1999, to became

the new official currency of 11 EU Member States, replacing the old national currencies -- such as the Belgian Franc.
