The Nazca Lines Incas or Aliens?

The Nazca Lines are drawing that have been made by spreading the sand around the lines out to create a large figure that can be seen from far up.

  • People are still clueless of how these line got there and how put them there. Some people think that aliens did, and some people think that the incas did it. I personally think that the Incas did it, because that theory has better evidence behind it.

Many people believe that the Incas have create the Nazca Lines for a multitude of reasons. People believe this theory because the Incas were in the same place in the same time period as the lines are believed to be created. The Incas were into worshiping gods, performing sacrifices, and they believe that the gods are the reason that they had the resources that they did. That is important because the lines could have been made to please the gods for resources such as water, good food, and plentiful crops.

Also, the lines could have been made as cemeteries or sacrificial grounds for surrounding tribes, this is supported be the fact that there have been human-looking heads found buried around the area of the Nazca lines. The Incas are known for their giant structures and worshiping of their gods, so the theory that they built the Nazca lines for their religion purposes probably isn’t far off just because of the evidence and facts we know about the Incas. The lines are about a yard thick and are made of rocks, dust, and surrounding material. There are many far off theories about how the Incas made the lines the way the are, but the one that I believe is that they made prisoners and slaves push out the sand, dirt, and rocks in lines with stone tools to create them, and then go back over them to make them look straight.

There are many theories about how the incas made the lines the way the are, but the one that I believe is that they made prisoners and slaves push out the sand, dirt, and rocks in lines to create them, and then go back over them to make them look straight. I think this because it looks like there was something dragged across the land to create these trenches that form figures.

Example of trenches from far away

The Incas may have made the Nazca lines as a place to perform sacrifices to their gods, this is back up by the human skulls that have been reportedly found spread across the area of the Nazca Lines. Another theory is that they built the lines as a spot that they can trade with different tribes and groups at because each of the drawings could have been a different trading post because they were big enough to see from a far distance.

Fewer People believe that the aliens made the Nazca Lines because it is a lot less believable, but some people still believe. There is a theory that the aliens came down and built the lines for a landing strip for their possible existence on earth. This is supported because the lines are extremely straight lines, and that would have been hard for early human life to create with the limited access to the tools that they had, plus some of them kind of look like actual landing strips for aircraft. The aliens could have come down and sheared off the tops of mountains, to build the Nazca Lines on. The thing that cuts this theory off is that there are these things called plateaus and mesa’s that occur naturally, and scientist know exactly how they are formed.

The Dog and/or The Tiger

There is still a little bit of hope for this theory though, like the fact that Peru and the Nazca desert is an area that has a ton of mountain ranges. The aliens could have made the Nazca Lines as possible worshiping grounds for their gods that they may or may not worship, that is even if they are real. This is backed up by the other impossible structures that people think that they used for worship or as a warning such as, The Great Pyramids of Giza, Stone Henge, The Great Wall of China, and Mach Picchu.

Another alien theory is that they came down to earth from earth after the fall of the Inca’s because if they came down before or during the Incan empire, you’d think that they would have noticed them and written about them. There is a theory that the Aliens may have gotten to earth before the Incas took over and the Incas took credit for these random lines in the middle of the desert. This could be true because the lines look very straight and exact and would have been hard for the Incas to construct. The aliens could have built the lines as a place marker to take advantage of all of the rich materials that are in the surrounding area.

Maria Reiche AKA the “Lady of the Lines” is famous for spending nearly 40 years researching the Nazca lines believed that the Nazcans or the Incas built the lines because of decoration or believe of certain gods.

We should care about this because if we do figure out how the lines were made, then we can have a clear understanding of that area. Anyways, what who do you think the Nazca Lines were made, whether, by the Incas or aliens, it is still a mystery to this day.
