Python Computer Programming

Python is a free, open-source programming language that was first released in 1991 – named after Monty Python’s Flying Circus. It is a powerful, high-level, object-oriented language which will run on any platform, is easy to learn and used by software developers all round the world.

The Python website www.python.org quotes the following claim:
