1. The man put platinum in aluminium, then put it in hydrochoric acid. Then left it. There for a few minutes, put water in. The aluminium completly destroyed the aluminium, but the platinum bar is complet;y fine.
2. The man took sugar and Sulfuric acid and mixed them together. He waited. Then the sulfuric acid started removing the water from the sugar and leaving behind carbon. Even then, the platinum was fine.
