Wichita

Wichita belongs to the Caddoan language family. According to Ethnologue, this language is considered dormant: "The language serves as a reminder of heritage identity for an ethnic community, but no one has more than symbolic proficiency. The last speaker, Doris Jean Lamar-McLemore, died in 2016." (Ethnologue)
