Open Campus Lunch A research Journal by: Haley fowler

Monday May 22, 2017: I still wonder how our school would be if we had an open campus lunch. I also think that it would be a good idea for the school and the community.

Tuesday May 23, 2017 I feel like all the students would like this to happen. This supports my thesis statement because a lot of students want this to happen because no one really likes the school food.

Wednesday May 24, 2017 I feel that teenagers need a sense of autonomy so he can make positive choices, learn responsibility, gain independence and develop self-governance.

Thursday May 25, 2017 Students that are in grades 10, 11, and, 12 should be able to leave school for lunch if they have a license and a car. Students may lose open campus privileges because of disciplinary and attendance. I feel like if Inland Lakes tried this they could help students gain more responsibility.

Friday May 26, 2017 The one downfall to an open campus lunch would be that there really isn't enough time to go somewhere and eat because our lunches are not very long.
