Today we gained knowledge on how to grow our brand identity and strategically market in this ever-changing world. Not just maintaining, but thriving through dynamic evolution. Understanding the importance of how humans shop and interact, the Internet, and our communities. Our reach is much further, but the consumer is much more savvy. So many avenues, many even free, but it is up to us to put forth the effort.

Redlands CA

28 MS’s were appreciative that Cole spent the day with our dealers educating them, as well as themselves on several Social Media platforms. From the Pre-shop Experience statistics, to Facebook and Posting, a Master Calendar Plan, Review Acquisition Companies such as Birdeye, just to recap some of the high-lights. He also shared the availability of what is available on Graphic Design that has already been created for several formats.

COMMENTS FROM OUR DEALERS

The event was very helpful I was impressed with the media information and the warehouse tour. This went a long way in securing my future business with Ashley.

I am grateful for the information and profound knowledge that was shared today! It was definitely worth my time! We will certainly put the knowledge to use in our current digital market program.

My biggest take away from today was the Google information. Explained in basic terms. Google Trends was also extremely informative. I think it would be a great tool to use for on the spot pop up sales/events because then you would guarantee it would be more relevant (revolve around product that was currently trending). Google Trends is also a great way to make sure you are using the right terminology with your customers as that is how customers are actually searching for product. The 9 Social media platforms reviewed were a good reminder, to keep your website updated with the goal to drive all of that traffic back to your website. It was also a good reminder that no matter what you do, make your interactions personal with your customers through social media and get them engaged!

The meeting was especially pertinent for a long time San Diego rental dealer who made the trip with his son who will take the family business into the future. They are in the process of building a new website that will be the cornerstone of their evolving business. Where else could they go to hear so much practical information as it applies to the furniture business? All the building blocks of building a successful site were presented thoroughly. They both commented that Ashley and our team really came through and set us apart from all other vendors. Big Thanks to those who made this happen!

Google Trends was highly beneficial to target specific categories every month.

It was asked if we could hold marketing shows more often. This account has been becoming more digital and gathering information from marketing vendors at market and Brandsource show. They were appreciative that we held this marketing show.

One retailer began mailer marketing in Q1 and this show has escalated them to get a website. With the daughter now involved in the business they are ready to move forward with their digital presence.

More than one dealer said the Google Trends page was eye opening, he commented this will change his advertising forever. Instead of picking something random to advertise he is forming his own calendar and he started it today! He will also be featuring our 5pc package on his initial circular with Fisher along with Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.

Another dealer shared they will be implementing a social media blitz starting with Facebook. Very informative and business changing. Loved the open format and picked up a bunch of information from all the questions that were asked.

A major account told me it was an amazing opportunity to really diagnose their digital advertising potential. She also said she was intending to go home and to meet with her team and to have serious dialog on what actions they need to take to become more engaged in many of the opportunities.

Another large dealer shared how excited she was to get a better understanding and become more knowledgeable as to what approaches she can take specifically to advertising more on Facebook.

REDLANDS CALIFORNIA

At the conclusion of the meeting the dealers were invited to tour the Redlands Facility.

“Almost all the dealers that were in attendance at the Redland marketing show also took the opportunity to join Thomas Gulamerian (Director of Redlands/Colton Distribution) in a complete tour of Ashley’s Amazing New Facility. This was an incredible opportunity to learn more about how the entire backend of Ashley’s Redland’s distribution center operates. Everyone enjoyed and learned a great deal about the sheer magnitude of the receiving process, E-Commerce process, shipping process and just simple day-to-day best practices. There were great questions asked on the tour making it clear that everyone was thinking about how to implement what they saw and the knowledge gained when they get back home to their own businesses. Thomas really did a great job of hosting the event and touring our Ashley Customers. Proof that Ashley really is one Incredibly Committed Team wherever you go, anywhere through-out the business.”

The energy was evident with 34 dealers, several with 2 attendees as well as 28 MS’s. Our total count was 80 attending
