2018 WOMEN'S TENNIS SCHEDULE Bears to play four matches at U.S. Open venue

Opening their fourth campaign in the Skyline Conference, the Bears will be tested right out of the gate beginning the season against defending league champions Yeshiva University (Sep. 7).

The Bears will then take on three CUNY Conference foes — Staten Island (Sep. 15), Brooklyn College (Sep. 16), and Hunter College (Sep. 22) — before returning to league play against Purchase College (Sep. 26) and Farmingdale State (Sep. 29) and closing the month of September with a non-conference tilt at Lehman (Sep. 30).

The Bears begin October with the second half of their Skyline schedule playing three straight matches in league play trying to clinch their first postseason berth. SJC welcomes Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 2) to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center before making trips to sibling rivals SJC Long Island (Oct. 6) and Mount Saint Mary (Oct. 9)

Wrapping up the 12-match slate are non-league affairs against FDU-Florham (Oct. 12) and John Jay (Oct. 16).

The top four teams will vie for the Skyline Conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship when semifinal action begins on Wednesday, October 17 with the league champion crowned on Saturday, October 20.
