World Hunger

define world hunger- a lack of some or all nutritional elements necessary

Where is this a problem: it is mostly a problem in Africa but it is everywhere.

Why it is a big deal and why do we need to stop it:Because people don't have the nutrition they need to live and grow. Without it people would die.

Causes: changes in climate,weather,floods,tropical,storms,and long periods of drought

Effects: Around 146 million people( mostly children) are underweight.Around 9 million people have died world wide since.

U.S. and world/UN dealing with it :Food donations, Fundraisers, and red cross

Solutions and actions: more farm land,bring out biotech,reduce poverty,and make a smaller population.

Conclusion: World Hunger is a big problem for the world.Because all people need food and without it people won't have energy,nutrition to grow and live.It needs to be stopped and it can be done with a little effort from everyone.
