Touring California. West Coast love

A much needed vacation

I went to California for the first time when I was ten years old. My godmother had joined a convent over there so my family andI went to visit. All I could remember from that trip was going to Disney Land, and getting stung by a bee while smelling a sun flower. A friend of mine moved to San Diego this year, and my brother booked his trip for ten days to go visit him; Then randomly my mother offered to buy my flight. After I booked my flight my best friend decided to tag along, and it was all set.

The first weekend we took a Greyhound bus from San Diego to Los Angeles.

San Diego

After our weekend in LA, we went back to San Diego for seven days. In efforts to budget our money we rented a car for three days, and bought groceries instead of eating out all the time. This trip made me realize how easy it is to travel as long as you take initiative, and plan out your expenses.

This hike is steep and challenging, yet definitely worth it once you get to the top!

  • This trip was a great way for me to get out of my comfort zone. It made me realize my love for traveling, and helped with my fear of airplanes. The West Coast was definitely more memorable this time around, See you soon California <3.
