This poem was written by EHBC Charter Member, Joy Nowlin. She wrote this poem in 1968 as EHBC was becoming a mission. Joy rereads this poem each year at Easter time. We thought you might enjoy as well.
Just a reminder that the church office will be closed this Friday, April 19th in observance of Good Friday.

Get your new EHBC T shirt! Order forms will be available through Easter Sunday. You can pick your order form up in the Ministry Information Center or in the church office. Turn your order form and payment into the office or through the offering no later than April 21st.
If you would like to donate toward sending Pastor Michael Vallandingham and Daryl Thomas to Malawi to share the Good News of Jesus, please mark your check "Malawi Mission Trip". The two from Eastern Heights will be headed to Malawi, Africa in September.
11 Women from Eastern Heights attended the BGCO Women's retreat at Falls Creek this last weekend.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University will host the annual local prayer event for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, from noon to 1pm at the Chapel on Silver Lake Road in Bartlesville. Musical prelude will begin at 11:30. Families are encouraged to attend this special time of prayer for our nation, state and community. The theme for the 2019 National Day of Prayer observation is “Love One Another” from John 13:34.
