Hero World challenge : A good start and a bad finish

Tiger Woods & Patrick Reed (Heroe world challenge)
  • Unlike the first three rounds in which he was quick to heat the birdies, Woods had a hard time getting back on the 4th round. It is true that success was not really on his side on the first holes. Birdie missed for two centimeters at 1, same thing at 3 on a monstrous putt at 15 meters, then at 4 after a perfect new approach.
  • Too short on par 3 of hole 5, Woods finds himself on the beach, the theater of his exploit the day before. "He's going to make his magic talk again," exclaims an enthusiastic fan. But if the exit of bunker is well controlled, the Tiger then takes two putts for his first bogey of the day. The magic will wait.
  • On par 5 of 6, Woods commits his first real dump of the week. In the sand at the foot of the green in 2, it completely misses its approach which fly the green and landed 20 meters away. The chip to follow is downright catastrophic: a skyscraper that will scarcely barely 3 meters. Result, an ugly double bogey for Tiger who recedes to -5.
  • Woods finally wrapped up his Bahamian weekend at the 15th place (out of 18) of the Hero World Challenge, with a lot of laughter on the fairway in the company of Patrick Reed or Rickie Fowler. With a total score of -4, and a place of n ° 1 in the number of birdies this week (24), he signs an already encouraging return, failing to be totally satisfactory because of the few big mistakes made during these 4 turns.
