Pele The greatest soccer player ever

Pele is worldly know soccer player.He was born in Brazil in October 23, 1940 in Brazil. His real name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Around the world he is known as the world best soccer player. He played for the New York Cosmos, and Santos F.C. He was able to scored 1,000 goals in his career. After Brazil Lost the world cup final to Uruguay In 1950 Brazil was shock because they thought they were going to win. Pele's dad was crying and Pele went up to him and told him that he was going to win a world cup. Later on in his life he won 3 World Cups for Brazil. On his last game before he retired he went against his team. The match was New York Cosmos vs. Santos F.C. he played for New York Cosmos at the time, but at half time he switched teams and played the other half with Santos F.C.

He showed the world it was a worldly sport for everyone and that any one could play the beautiful game. Another 8 Theme of world history is Art. He mastered the art of soccer. He showed the world at a young age when he signed for Santos F.C. and Won the world cup for Brazil. He was able to spread it around the world when he signed for New York Cosmos because in America it wasn't a popular sport at the time
