This is a try in making a drawn copy of a sculpt. The drawing uses different techniques to create a range of value, plus different lines structures to give it depth.
This ink drawing made with watercolor below is using contrast in design elements, it makes us get a sense of depth, even though I painted this with the same exact color, just different amount of mix with the water.
This oil pastel paintings are using color themes to make it more interesting. I am using complementary colors, on the bottom right corner I use the left side of the color wheel, while I am using the right side on the top left. When they meet in the middle they collide.
The gesture drawing to the right I showed further up, but I would like to show it again because I made it as an outline to the sculpture (ornament) on the right. They show a good use of proportions
