Card 1 in progress

I learned many things about the Elements of art and Principles of design. One thing I learned was yellow is not such a great color if you are going to be using darker colors such as blue or black. Monoprinting is not very challenging by you should know what to do and what not to do. In monoprinting the paint should be painted very thick so it does not dry quickly. Personally on this card monoprinting was very hard because of the design that i chose. Since it is many little lines it was very very challenging.

Card 2 finished

This monoprint was not hard at all. The designs i chose did not come out correctly but i kept layering them. Underneath all these colors i chose yellow but yellow is not the best color so i kept layering colors on top of colors and this was my finished work. I used a variety of colors and shapes on this card. Personally I do not think this card was as challenging either. In the beginning of this card i thought it was going to turn out horrible but in the end it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be.

Card 3 finished

This card was very very easy for my monoprint. I used many different methods, shapes, and colors on this one card. I used bubble wrap, tape, the monoprint glass and a variety of utensils we have in the art room. This card is one of a kind i did not mean for it to come out like this but i just played around and experimented with the things we had. The bubble wrap added texture and more color to my card. I think that this card was easy to create and experiment with.
