Ken Maharajah is a UK based watercolour artist specialising in painting people. After spending two years observing flamenco dance in the UK, Seville and Cuba, he has a body of work some of which is featured here. Using drawings and paintings, he demonstrates his signture of a loose-painterly technique to capture atmosphere and explosive excitement of this dance genre that somehow touches something inside.
