Getting a hit in baseball is one of the hardest things to do in sports. The pitcher could be fast, slow, have really good secondary pitches, or even the ump could have a big strike zone. All of those excuses change now with everything how to get a good hit against anyone. You should follow my steps because I have been playing baseball for 9 years competitively and have won 4 championships. I have also, hit 3 home runs in two years.
The first thing that will help you get a good hit in baseball is finding the right bat and the right way to hold that bat. You do not need to go out and buy the $400 composite bat to be successful. You just need to have the right length and the right weight for you. Let's say the bat is good but it's a little to heavy you can grip the bat higher up or choke up on the bat. Next, you need to make sure that you are in the right part of the batters box. If it is a really fast pitcher you don't want to move up in the box you want to move back in the box. This because the longer the ball has to go the slower it comes in. If it is a really slow pitcher you want to move up because if the ball comes in to slow you won't be able to hit it very far. After that you want to make sure that your feet are even and balanced with rest of your body. If your feet are messed up and not in position your whole body will not be in position. After that you need to make sure your chest is balanced and not leaned over. If it's leaning towards first base then your going to hit it to first base. If your leaning towards third base you will hit it to third base. Next, you need to make sure that you are not uppercutting on the ball. This means that you want to make sure that your not swinging straight up in the air. If you do that you will hit the ball straight up. Also, you want to make sure that your not chopping down at the ball so it's not a weak ground ball. The last thing you have to do is follow through on your swing. If you stop your swing to early you will not get as much power as possible on your swing which is the difference between an out and a hit.
As the season comes to an end you will see your batting average climb if you use these steps. You will find its the easiest way to get a hit against any pitcher. These are the little things that make the pros so good and it's what they use when they coach or when they are playing in their MLB games.
