Life in Gloucestershire walking with george

Beautiful Countryside

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with loads of footpaths zig-zagging their way through fields, woods and open spaces. It's great for creative thinking, good for our health and all the time we are discovering new things about our new location.

Westonbirt National Arboretum is just 6 miles away and is a great place for a walk. There is plenty of native woodland as well as more exotic species and so we're looking forward to experiencing the changing seasons - so far we have enjoyed winter and spring is just starting to happen now.

Spring has sprung - trees are starting to blossom

The Cotswold Way

The Cotswold Way is a 102-mile long footpath, running along the Cotswold Edge escarpment of the Cotswold Hills and passes through Hawkesbury Upton running from Bath to Chipping Camden.
