What's Cool At Mercy School? Easter 2017

Food Dudes

Food dudes is a programme designed by Bord Bia to try to get children to eat more fruit and vegetables. We are currently doing Food Dudes in all classes. At the start of this programme every child would have got a portion of fresh fruit and vegetables each day sponsored by Bord Bia. For tasting the portion of fruit and veg each child got a prize. Now the children bring in their own fruit and veg each day. In the class the teacher has a chart to see who has brought in fruit and veg every day and the children receive certificates for eating their fruit and veg. It will continue to run in the school until June. Let's get healthy together!
