What I learned about the Revolution Rachel Smith

The Olive Branch Petition

One thing I learned about before the american revolution is that the “Olive Branch Petition” was signed. This Petition was written by John Dickinson and was then sent off to King George III. Dickerson’s goal was to keep peace between the Colonies and Great Britain. With Dickerson’s wording King George III thought it was not him they weren’t agreeing with it was the ministerial policy.
