After a lovely morning in the sun, our ducklings Daffy, Daisy and Donald are going to join another duck family at the farm today. ☀️🦆 They have grown so big and strong over the last week and have enjoyed every minute of living at Miss McDonald’s house. 💛

Over the past few weeks Nursery have been caring for chick eggs. We had the pleasure of watching them hatch and holding them on Thursday before they left with an expert member of staff who will be keeping them safe and sound on her farm.🐣
Shrove Tuesday has been a busy day in Nursery. We have enjoyed making, decorating and eating our pancakes. 🥞

Nursery PM met Santa. We all shouted “Hohoho!”
Nursery AM met Santa and we all even got a present!
Nursery were amazing in their Christmas performance. Well done!
Nursery loved experimenting with food colouring and water to make blue ice. We then made some wonderful winter art.
Nursery enjoyed making Big Ben to represent parliament week.
Nursery have enjoyed making a Mango Lassi to celebrate Diwali.
Nursery AM loved collecting Autumnal objects from the park. We saw lots of red, yellow and brown leaves on the trees. We also found some conkers, acorns and even mushrooms!
Nursery PM loved their Autumn adventure in the park. We found a squirrel, some conkers, lots of crunchy brown leaves and some acorns.
Nursery loved using our pumpkin to make delicious pumpkin cupcakes.
Nursery loved exploring the taste and texture of a watermelon. We noticed that the seeds were much smaller than the pumpkin seeds!
Nursery used their fine motor skills to hammer golf tees into a pumpkin. Then they explored the insides of the pumpkin and we discovered it was smelly, squishy and full of seeds.
Nursery love exploring with colours and using their hands and fingerprints to make Autumn trees.
Nursery loved Autumn colour mixing and mark making using carrots.
Nursery loved making clown face pizzas. They were delicious!
