Earn up to $2000 per recruit!

Let's face it. Finding talented and qualified drivers is hard. Keeping good drivers is even harder and we need all the help we can get! Not everybody knows drivers that meet our stringent requirements. We also know that sometimes you may not want to refer someone because you're not 100% confident as to whether they are a good fit. Please don't let that minor detail get in the way of earning extra income. If you bring us the driver, we will worry about the rest.

Make sure to provide your recruit with your name and phone number or email address. If your recruit is hired, you will receive $500 on their ninety day/three month anniversary, another $500 on their 120 day/six month anniversary and when they reach their one year anniversary, you will receive an additional $1000!

Driver Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum two years recent OTR driving experience
  • No positive drug test on record
  • Resides in one of the following states: NY, CT, NJ, PA, OH, MO, IL, TX, FL
  • Clean driving record
  • Current medical card
  • Professional demeanor a must!

What to expect

Cool Way Direct, LLC is small company with a temperature-controlled fleet of eleven trucks. Our primary purpose is to serve the needs of our affiliated companies in transporting wine for their wine shipping clients. While we specialize in wine, we haul a myriad of refrigerated (and dry) goods. Being small allows us the luxury of knowing all of our drivers personally. Our focus is on quality over quantity and we strive to maintain a standard of excellence. Our tagline is "Going the extra mile and beyond" and we mean it. We treat our employees and customers with a level of graciousness and courtesy not ordinarily seen in the industry. From the way we answer our phones to the cookies we bake for drivers during the holidays, and all of the little things in between...we are dedicated to creating a culture that is atypical for a trucking business. Our Pay

At Cool Way Direct, we do things differently. First starters, we pay our drivers salary. Our current starting salary is $1,400 per week. You will receive the same paycheck each week, wether you have home time, a reset, or simply get stuck waiting for a load. You are paid for working 365 days per year. When you are not forced to chase miles to earn a living, you make smarter choices. We remove all incentives to drive illegally and the result is a better safety record for our company and safer working conditions for our drivers. Drivers are also reviewed on a monthly basis.

Starting salary $72,800 per year!

Our Benefits

Besides working for a great company and with great people, we offer 80% paid medical/dental/vision benefits to all full-time employees after ninety days.

Our Fleet

We maintain our newer fleet. All of our trucks are either 2015, 2016 or 2017's Freightliner Cascadia's and our trailers are 2015 and 2016 Utility's. We pride ourselves in maintaining them well. All Preventative Maintenance is done to manufacturers specifications and trucking industry guidelines. This makes it easier for drivers to earn inspection bonuses and cuts down on unnecessary repairs and down time.

Bonus Opportunies

Cool Way Direct offers our drivers opportunities to earn bonuses. Our driver referral program is one of several programs we have in place to reward drivers who go the extra mile and beyond. We also offer $50 cash incentives for each clean DOT inspection earned. Our driver recognition program rewards an exemplary driver each quarter with a certificate of achievement, a place on our "wall of fame" and $500. Drivers also receive annual bonuses based on length of employment.

Electronic Logging

Because we were already following DOT regulations, the transition to electronic logging has been relatively smooth. We actually want to keep our drivers, vehicles and loads safe. The electronic logging features have improved every aspect of the dispatch process.
