ABOUT ME

I'm a senior at Cal State Fullerton studying business administration with a finance concentration. My scholar interests are in investing, politics, and economics. I currently work as an assistant bookkeeper. My duties range from payroll processing and invoicing to working catering events. I'm an organized person who is willing to learn new things. I was a member of the Student Managed Investment Fund to apply my investment interest. This was an important step for me to develop professionally. As a current member of Titan Capital Management, this program allows us to manage a portfolio for the school with a great team of individuals. When I finish school, I plan to start the CFA program and seek a career in investments to apply what I learned.

This programs allows students to have hands-on investment experience. As a member of the CSUF SMIF, I was part of the equity analyst team. This was my first experience with investments. I was to conduct research on equities that would best fit our portfolio using a top-down or bottom-up approach. Our buy reports included DCF model, financial analysis, and company risks. In Spring 2018, I was selected to present with a team to the investment committee about our portfolio's quarterly performance.

Work Experience

Plums Cafe & Catering - Assistant Bookkeeper - 2015 to Present

As an assistant bookkeeper, my task is to keep reports updated and add invoices into QuickBooks. I also assist with payroll by updating a tips report every week. As a popular restaurant in the Orange County area, we receive many vendor invoices. I have a strong attention to detail because each vendor item must be separated into different categories in QuickBooks. Working for a small business, I'm always prepared to take on multiple roles.
