Ty James So it goes

A public university in Washington spread across multiple campuses

A large, public university in California with great engineering and technology programs

A large university in a small town, surrounded by plenty of nature and wildlife

Majors

Mechanical Engineering

ME is one of the broadest branches of engineering. It can lead into careers with product design, robotics, manufacturing, and many more.

Computer Science

A degree in CS can be very versatile, you can use your skills to do web development, app development, or game development (most types of development). With society's heavy use of technology, there will be steady supply of jobs in the future. Also, a Computer Science degree allows for an independent lifestyle, which is appealing.

Robotics

While rather specific and a combination of the previous two majors, Robotics expanding very quickly. Oregon State has a specific program for Robotics which combines its ME and CS courses.
