Brotherly Love BY NATALIA MADEJ

Having only brothers for siblings has some exciting and annoying moments but no matter what happens you can always tell that we would do anything for one another. I honestly never thought of what it would be like to have a sister because I have always been used to brotherly love.

The oldest Brother, cj, shooting a basketball.

I became an older sister when I was six years old in 2010. CJ was born in September and is now obsessed with all sports. He loves basketball and can tell you anything you want to know about a player in the NBA.

Being a big sister means you have to be a good example for the ones that look up to you. I think I do a pretty good job of being a role model for my brothers by trying my hardest in school and being a loyal teammate in the sports I play.
always a hand to hold

Since the births of my brothers, I’ve always had a close bond with each of them. From holding them as infants to playing football in the backyard that bond continues to grow everyday. They know they can always depend on me to be there for them.

Along with the love I have for my brothers, I must admit there are times when they drive me crazy. I never thought that being an older sister would involve all of them pilling up on top of me, hiding my stuff, or asking what I’m doing every five seconds (even though they already know).

Damian is the baby in my family. He is always full of energy and has the biggest heart a five year old could have. He has always had a special place in my heart because I know he needs me more than the others do. My family found out that Damian would be behind for his age when we found out he has autism. But that has never stopped him form being his crazy, lovable self.

asleep already?

I have experienced a lot of precious moments with my brothers that I will never forget. When I was younger, my brothers and I would always have sibling movie night when we would go into one of our rooms and watch a movie together. Even though they would always fall asleep 20 minutes after the movie started, I still loved those moments we shared together.

One thing I love that I share with my brothers is our love of sports. All of us have our own sport that we love to play. For Dimitrius, baseball has always been one of his favorites. You can always see the excitement on his face when he is up to bat.
put me in coach!

Following in his brother’s footsteps, Darrius always tries to keep up with his older brother. It makes me laugh to see how serious he takes the sport at such a young age. Especially when his bat is almost as big as he is.
