• HB 566 (Rep. James Santora, R-Delaware): Amends the Contractor and Subcontractor Act to allow for suspension of performance and for prompt payment. House concurred in Senate amendments. Vote: 175-16. HB 566 now goes to the governor’s desk.

John Blake, D-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Monroe): Authorizes municipalities or counties to establish, by resolution or ordinance, a property assessed clean energy program, defined as a means of financing clean energy projects, water conservation projects or alternative energy systems in a district through an assessment. • SB 880 (Sen. Wayne Langerholc, R-Bedford/Cambria/Clearfield): Standardizes the current truck-trailer combination width for all trucks at 8 feet, 6 inches (102 inches), while allowing for exemptions for narrow roadways. Vote: 171-4. SB 880 now goes to the governor’s desk.
