2021 Junior Girls Grant Program Application

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

The Junior Girls Golf Grant Program began in 2002 as a commitment from the Pacific Women’s Golf Association (PWGA) to support junior girls in golf. Since then the Women’s Golf Association of Northern California (WGANC) made a commitment of their own to a grants program and the program has grown tremendously. Grants awarded to date are over $330,000. In 2020 the programs will be combined and administered through Youth on Course (YOC).

Grants of up to $1,000 are made available to any Junior Girls Golf Programs within Northern California. Applications must be made online through the official Grant Application. Grant Application.

The program is funded in part by donations from our members and member clubs with funding up to $60,000 through Youth on Course. Donations to this program are tax deductible.

Funding Guidelines

Grant applications will be accepted for the current Grant year beginning April 1 and accepted through October 1. Applications will be reviewed by the committee and approved on a first come–first served basis. Please review carefully the guidelines below prior to completing your grant application. Grants will be awarded as funding allows.

Grants are designed to supplement a Junior Girls Golf Program. The grant should not be considered full funding for a program. You must indicate any other sources of funding your program utilizes in your application. Based on the funding available the Grants Committee may consider a lesser grant amount for grants to the same program on applications received in successive years.
