The Jean Rees Centre Bridgwater, somerset

As part of the overarching redevelopment of the Penrose School site in Bridgwater, Futures for Somerset managed the remodelling and refurbishment of a number of buildings on the Chilton Trinity Campus to create a dedicated SEN sixth form centre – The Jean Rees Centre.

This facility was designed to provide a functional series of learning and practical spaces for 16-19 year old PMLD students. The facility was design to provide highly accessible facilities to assist in preparing students for home life and work beyond education.

Futures for Somerset provided a range of services into this project. Being involved from the very beginning of the project enabled a strong understanding of the school and student needs, allowing a bespoke solution to be shaped. Our services into this project included Project Management, acting as Employers Agent, Procurement Agents, Education Change Management, IT Technical Advice and Procurement, FM Services Procurement.
